This year will mark my 28th year in Dallas ISD.  I have worked with students in a variety of roles including elementary teacher,  instructional coach and an Assistant Principal at Dealey Montessori in Dallas ISD.  I am grateful for each experience which has inspired my leadership mantra: Live and lead with joy, extend trust to staff, students and community, create sustainable change by building capacity in others and advocate for our kids by choosing courage over comfort every minute of every day.

It is an honor and privilege to serve as the principal at Harry C. Withers Elementary.   The 2023 - 2024 school year will mark my eighth year of being part of this incredibly connected and supportive community.  I strongly believe that successful educators must exhibit a positive “can do” attitude, embrace every child for his or her uniqueness, and build a purposeful connectedness as a community of parents, teachers, and students.

Withers is an extraordinary elementary school due to the partnership of parents, staff and students.  I look forward to working with each of you this year.  This will be a year to remember!
