Meet Our Assistant Principal

Meliton Velasquez

A Dallas native with two decades in education, Meliton Velasquez grew up as the youngest of seven siblings with five sisters and one brother. He began his educational journey at James Bowie, Barbara Jordan Elementary, Atwell Middle School and Skyline High School. 

Mr. Velasquez has served on the role of Instructional Coach and Assistant Principal, most recently at Dallas Hybrid Prep. His true joy has come from the students who have gone on to become accomplished adults and great contributors to the Dallas community. He credits his success to people like Principal Miller who have encouraged and inspired him.

Degrees: B.S. in Biology from the University of Texas at Arlington & M.Ed in Administration from Texas Woman's University
