Girl Scouts

Withers Elementary is home to active and vibrant Girl Scout Troop #8307. The troop spans all ages at Withers, from Daisies (Kinder-1st grade), Brownies (2nd-3rd grade) and Juniors (4th-5th grade).  Scouts earn badges for acquiring an array of skills including campfire safety, public speaking, budget & menu planning, financial lessons, cookie sales and community service projects to name a few.  Our troop prides themselves on being civil servants and leaders in our community.  Troop #8307 was an integral part to our school wide food drive and garden work day.  Each scout looks forward to our yearly Meals on Wheels service project and Christmas caroling at local retirement homes.
